Edan Blood Gas and Chemistry Analyser Model i15
Edan i15 Blood Gas and Chemistry Analyser
The Edan i15 is a portable point-of-care blood gas and chemistry analyser delivering results within one minute of sample aspiration from a 140 µl whole blood sample. Combining blood gases, electrolytes, metabolites and haematocrit in a single multi-parameter single-use cartridge, the i15 eliminates the need for multiple separate analysers at the bedside. A 7-inch colour touchscreen, auto-sampling mechanism and built-in multimedia tutorials minimise training requirements and handling time. A 5000 mAh lithium-ion battery supports 50 continuous tests per charge, enabling use in emergency departments, intensive care units, wards, outpatient clinics and field settings without a mains connection. Up to 10,000 patient records are stored onboard, with 4 USB ports, LAN and Wi-Fi for flexible data management and optional EMR integration. A triple quality control guarantee system incorporates calibration, liquid controls and an external electronic simulator for verified result accuracy.
