MDS LF-8L Class B Steam Sterilizer Autoclave

The MDS LF-8L is a compact Class B bench-top steam autoclave designed for the sterilisation of wrapped and unwrapped instruments in dental, podiatry, chiropody, tattoo and piercing, beauty and veterinary settings. Class B certification means it is capable of processing all load types including solid, hollow and porous instruments in both wrapped and unwrapped configurations, in compliance with BS EN 13060. An auto-run function initiates the full sterilisation cycle with minimal user input, and adjustable sterilisation time allows the cycle to be configured for different load types.

A quick cycle and temperature-holding function between runs maximise throughput during busy clinical sessions. B&D and Helix test cycles verify sterilisation performance. An LCD display with built-in printer provides a permanent cycle record for compliance and audit purposes. At 8 litres capacity, the LF-8L is the smallest model in the MDS range and is well suited to low to medium-volume clinical and professional environments. Compliant with MDD 93/42/EEC, BS EN 13060, HTM 01-05 and pressure equipment directive 97/23/EC.

Technical Specifications

Please note: Annual validation and PSSR 2000 inspection are recommended before and during clinical use. The MDS LF-8L requires distilled or demineralised water only. Use of tap water will void performance and may damage the chamber.
