The Stryker 6550 Power-Pro TL XPS Ambulance Stretcher is a power-assisted patient transport system engineered to improve safety, efficiency and ergonomics in pre-hospital and emergency transport environments. It combines hydraulic lift technology with XPS (Expandable Patient Surface) to support operator control and patient comfort during transfers and transport.
Built on the established Power-Pro platform, the TL model uses a lightweight frame and high-strength actuators to deliver powered lift and descent at the touch of a button. By reducing manual lifting, it helps minimise paramedic fatigue and the risk of handling-related back injuries, while streamlining patient movement in time-critical scenarios.
The XPS (Expandable Patient Surface) increases patient surface width by up to 7.6 cm (3 in) on each side, improving stability and accommodating a wider range of patient sizes. With dual wheel locks, battery-powered operation, and compatibility with Stryker Power-LOAD cot fastening systems, the Power-Pro TL XPS supports safe, controlled handling for modern ambulance fleets and clinical transport teams.
