Widely used in UK hospitals and rehabilitation settings, the Latera combines advanced electric functions with safety-focused engineering. Its built-in lateral tilt system allows the mattress platform to move left or right, supporting assisted turning and hygiene procedures with reduced strain on staff.
Hospital Bed with Lateral Tilt and Full Electric Profiling
A defining feature of this Hospital bed is its electric lateral tilt capability. The platform can tilt up to approximately 15° on either side, assisting with patient repositioning and wound care while lowering manual handling risks.
Full electric profiling includes powered backrest elevation, knee break adjustment, height control, and Trendelenburg or reverse Trendelenburg positioning. One-touch positioning functions may include cardiac chair and flat settings depending on configuration.
Auto-regression technology reduces shear forces during backrest elevation, helping protect skin integrity.
Hospital Bed Designed for Safety and Infection Control
This Hospital bed includes multiple patient safety systems. Side rails with interlocks support fall prevention, while low-height positioning reduces injury risk during bed exit. CPR quick-release functionality is available in manual or electric formats depending on model specification.
Infection control is supported through smooth, sealed surfaces and removable mattress platform sections for easier cleaning. Central braking enhances stability, and selected models include a fifth wheel to improve steering during transport.

Ordered before 1pm Monday to Friday, dispatched the same working day from Leeds. Deliveries run Monday to Saturday, never Sunday.
UK mainland, light items: 1 to 2 working days. Heavy and bulky: 2 to 4 working days.
Customs and duties
International orders ship on a Delivered At Place basis. Import duty, local tax and customs clearance fees are charged by the destination country and are the buyer's responsibility.
Returns
Unopened items can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Tell us before you send anything back so we can give you a returns reference.
Opened items that touch the airway cannot be returned for hygiene reasons unless they are faulty.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Refund
Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item reaches us and has been checked, normally within five working days.
Faulty items are refunded in full, including the delivery you paid.
