Read before ordering: this unit does not work

• The stretcher does not power on. It is sold for parts or repair only.
• It must not be used to lift, support or transport a person in its current condition, and it must not be placed into service in a vehicle or a clinical setting.
• No battery is supplied. No charger is supplied. No mattress is supplied.
• The cause of the fault has not been diagnosed. A buyer should assume that the powered lift system requires full investigation and repair, and should budget for parts, engineer time and testing accordingly.
• Only the items visible in the photographs are supplied. The photographs form part of the description.

Return to service is a specialist job

• Before this cot could ever carry a patient again it would need diagnosis and repair by a qualified service engineer, a full function test of the hydraulic lift, manual override, wheel locks and retractable sections, an electrical safety test, and a load test.
• As lifting equipment used to lift persons, it would then require a thorough examination by a competent person under LOLER 1998, with a current report held before it enters service, and thereafter at intervals of at least every six months.
• Any decision on whether the unit is economically repairable rests with the buyer. It is offered on the basis that it does not function.

Delivery and access

• This is a large, heavy item at approximately 59 kg and 194.3 cm in overall length. Measure every access point on the route, including doorways, corridor turns, lift dimensions and loading bay height, before ordering.
• Dimensions given are approximate and should be treated as a guide for access planning rather than an exact figure.
• Delivery is to ground floor only, kerbside or first accessible doorway. Two people should be available to receive and move the item.
• Return shipping is at the buyer's expense and any delivery fee paid is non-refundable.
