Alvera AirLink Mini Mask Adapter Single Pack
Alvera AirLink Mini Mask Adapter, Connect any Standard 22 mm Mask to an AirMini
The Alvera AirLink Mini Mask Adapter lets a standard 22 mm CPAP mask connect directly to an AirMini or AirMini Pro travel machine. Without it, an AirMini only works with the small range of masks built for it, which for most people means travelling with an interface they do not use at home and spending the first two nights of a trip adjusting to it. The adapter removes that compromise: the mask that already fits, already seals and already gets used every night comes along instead. It also runs quieter than the original elbow arrangement, which matters in a hotel room or a shared space where the machine sits close to the head.

Humidification does not work through this adapter
Waterless humidification cartridges only function inside the dedicated AirMini mask setups. When a standard 22 mm mask is connected through this adapter, that humidification path is bypassed and therapy is delivered dry. For a few nights away this is usually tolerable, and for anyone who depends on humidification it is not. Where dryness is already a problem at home, a dedicated AirMini mask setup remains the better arrangement and this adapter is the wrong choice.
Before first use
- Confirm the adapter is fully seated and secure at both the tubing end and the mask end before starting therapy. A partial connection leaks pressure and the therapy is not delivered as set.
- The mask in use must have its own vent. Vent holes must never be blocked, taped or covered, and nothing should be inserted into them. A blocked vent allows exhaled carbon dioxide to be rebreathed.
- Do not use an adapter that is split, cracked, distorted or no longer grips, and do not repair one with tape or adhesive.
- Check therapy comfort on a night at home before relying on the arrangement while travelling.
- Follow the setup instructions supplied with the machine and the mask.
What the adapter changes
A bedside machine and a mask speak the same language: a standard 22 mm cuff at each end with a wide hose between them. AirMini does not. To reach its size it uses a narrow proprietary hose, and the mask end has to be brought back to something a full-size interface can accept. The adapter does that translation with a push fit at each end.
The practical gain is mask continuity. Mask fit is personal and hard won, and a seal that took weeks to get right at home does not transfer to a borrowed interface. Being able to pack the usual mask means the travel machine delivers the same therapy as the bedside one, rather than a compromise version of it. The trade is humidification, covered above, and that trade is worth making for short trips and worth avoiding for long ones.
Key features
Compatible accessory, not an original part
This is a compatible third-party adapter produced under the Alvera brand by Elarix Medical. It is not an original manufacturer accessory. It fits AirMini and AirMini Pro devices and does not fit Air 10 series or AirSense 11 machines, which already use standard 22 mm tubing connections and need no adapter.

Alvera range
Alvera is the own-brand accessory range from Elarix Medical, covering the consumables that sleep therapy depends on and that need renewing on a schedule. AirLink covers connectors and adapters, alongside PureFlow filters, ThermaAir heated tubing, AirFlex tubing, AquaPure water chambers, AirSoft cushions and PureWipe cleaning wipes. Products are individually referenced and barcoded, so a repeat order is placed against a code rather than a description.
