Sunflower Fusion Gynae 3 Couch in Blue, Good Condition, Electric with Powered Back, Tilting Seat, Leg Supports and Stirrups
A Sunflower Medical Fusion gynaecology examination couch in blue upholstery, supplied with both fully adjustable leg supports and lithotomy stirrups plus the hand controller. Electric height adjustment runs from 45 cm to 98 cm, so a patient can step on at a low height and then be brought up to a working position that protects the clinician's back through a full list. The cut-away lithotomy section and the 100 mm deep stainless steel operator's tray are what separate a purpose-built gynae couch from a general examination couch: pelvic access is unobstructed and instruments stay within reach. The Gynae 3 is the top configuration in the Fusion Gynae range, adding a 15 degree electric powered tilting seat and a powered back section to the electric height adjustment. Maximum user weight is 225 kg. This unit is pre-owned and in good condition.

Where the Gynae 3 sits in the range
The Fusion Gynae range shares one frame, a 45 to 98 cm height range and a 225 kg user weight limit across every version, and the models differ only in how much of the movement is powered. The entry configuration pairs electric height with a gas assisted back and no seat tilt. The middle configuration adds the 15 degree electric tilting seat. The Gynae 3 offered here is the top configuration, with electric height, a powered back section and the powered tilting seat, so every adjustment is made from the handset rather than by hand.
Positioning and patient safety
- Lithotomy positioning carries a recognised risk of nerve injury and compartment syndrome when a patient is held in position for extended periods. Time in stirrups should be kept to the minimum needed, with the legs raised and lowered together.
- Leg supports and stirrups must be checked as securely locked before the patient is positioned, and the height set so the clinician is not lifting against the couch.
- The couch is not designed to be used as a hoist attachment point and should not be moved with a patient on it.
Condition. Pre-owned and in good condition. Cosmetic marking consistent with previous use should be expected. Ongoing maintenance should follow the operating organisation's planned maintenance schedule and the duties under PUWER 1998. The photographs form part of the description and show the actual condition of the item offered.
Delivery and access
- The couch measures 137 cm long by 65 cm wide and is heavy. Measure every access point on the route before ordering, including external doors, internal doorways, corridor turns, stair widths and lift dimensions.
- Dimensions given are approximate and should be treated as a guide for access planning rather than exact figures.
- Delivery is to ground floor only and the couch is supplied fully assembled. It cannot be carried upstairs or dismantled for delivery.
- Two people should be available to receive the item, with a clear path from the delivery vehicle to the room.
- Return shipping is at the buyer's expense and any delivery fee paid is non-refundable.

Shipping
Ordered before 1pm Monday to Friday, dispatched the same working day from Leeds. Deliveries run Monday to Saturday, never Sunday.
UK mainland, light items: 1 to 2 working days. Heavy and bulky: 2 to 4 working days.
Customs and duties
International orders ship on a Delivered At Place basis. Import duty, local tax and customs clearance fees are charged by the destination country and are the buyer's responsibility.
Returns
Unopened items can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Tell us before you send anything back so we can give you a returns reference.
Opened items that touch the airway cannot be returned for hygiene reasons unless they are faulty.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Refund
Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item reaches us and has been checked, normally within five working days.
Faulty items are refunded in full, including the delivery you paid.
