Eppendorf CO₂ and LN₂ Freezer Back-up Systems
£99.99
This item
The Freezer Back-up Systems: Eppendorf CO₂ and LN₂ units provide essential emergency protection for ultra-low temperature (ULT) freezers in laboratories, biobanks, and research facilities. Designed for New Brunswick Scientific ULT freezers, these systems activate automatically during power failure or compressor malfunction to maintain safe internal temperatures using liquid CO₂ or liquid nitrogen (LN₂).
The Eppendorf Freezer Back-up Systems feature a freestanding control module, sensor probe, solenoid valve, and transfer lines, ensuring precise operation and secure sample protection. Battery-backed control allows continued performance during outages, providing confidence that critical biological materials, reagents, and pharmaceuticals remain stable even in emergencies.
These freezer back-up systems can be factory-installed or retrofitted to existing ULT freezers, making them a flexible and dependable solution for any cold-chain safety plan.
Emergency Temperature Stability: Maintains safe freezer temperatures during power or compressor failure.
CO₂ or LN₂ Options:
CO₂ system maintains –50 °C to –70 °C.
LN₂ system maintains temperatures down to –85 °C.
Comprehensive Monitoring System: Platinum resistance thermometer, door switch, and solenoid valve included.
Freestanding Control Unit: Cables and connectors for easy ULT freezer integration.
Battery-Backed Function: Operates during power failure for reliable emergency protection.
Flexible Installation: Factory-installed or retrofitted on existing Eppendorf or compatible freezers.
Critical Cold-Chain Security: Ideal for biobanking, vaccine storage, and pharmaceutical research.
Non-Interchangeable Use: CO₂ and LN₂ systems must be selected for their intended medium.
