The bladder scanner Verathon BladderScan® Prime Plus™ is an advanced portable ultrasound system designed to deliver fast, accurate bladder volume assessment at the point of care. This bladder scanner uses Verathon’s ImageSense® AI deep-learning technology to provide automatic real-time measurements, helping clinicians reduce unnecessary catheterisation and lower the risk of CAUTI in hospitals, care homes, and outpatient settings.

Engineered for everyday clinical use, the bladder scanner does not require a trained sonographer and supports consistent results across different users. Intelligent guidance tools such as EdgeScan™ and pubic bone interference indicators help optimise probe positioning, while automatic patient-type selection ensures accurate readings for adult, paediatric, male, and female patients.
