The Philips DreamStation 2 Advanced Auto is a compact auto-adjusting CPAP machine for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea. Pressure adjusts automatically across a 4 to 20 cm H2O range in response to detected respiratory events, with Flex pressure relief easing the transition at exhalation. The humidifier is built into the body of the device rather than clipping on, which keeps the overall footprint small on a bedside table. A full colour touchscreen replaces the dial-and-menu arrangement of the earlier generation, and Ramp Plus lets the wearer start the night at a lower, more comfortable pressure. This unit is pre-owned.

Before first use

Therapy pressure, auto range and comfort settings should be set by the sleep service or clinician responsible for the wearer's care, not carried over from a previous user.
Fit fresh filters and use a fresh mask and tubing. These are personal items and are not transferred between users.
Fill the humidifier tank with distilled water only. Tap water leaves mineral deposits that damage the tank and reduce humidifier performance.
