ResMed Lumis 100 VPAP ST Non-Invasive Ventilator with Power Supply and Bag
The ResMed Lumis 100 VPAP ST is a bi-level non-invasive ventilator for people weighing more than 13 kg with respiratory insufficiency or obstructive sleep apnoea who are not ventilator dependent. It runs CPAP, S, T, ST and PAC modes and is intended for use at home and in hospital. What separates it from a straightforward bi-level machine is IntelligentAir: Vsync compensates continuously for leak so synchrony holds when the mask seal is imperfect, TiControl sets minimum and maximum limits on inspiratory time so the device encourages the patient's own breath rather than overriding it, five levels of trigger and cycle sensitivity match the device to weak or strong respiratory effort, and an intelligent Backup Rate in ST mode supplies breaths only when they are not triggered. This listing is for the device with its power supply and travel bag. Machine hours are selected from the options below.

Before first use: Therapy mode, pressures, backup rate and target settings must be entered by the sleep or respiratory service responsible for the individual's care, and must not be carried over from a previous user. Fit a fresh filter and use a fresh mask and tubing, which are personal items and are not transferred between users. This device is indicated for patients weighing more than 13 kg.
Checked before dispatch: Cleaned and inspected. Powered up and function tested, including blower operation and screen response. Air outlet, filter housing, casing, power supply and lead visually inspected for damage. These are in-house workshop checks and damaged or non-working items are not dispatched. A full engineer service is not included unless this listing states that the unit has been serviced.
Key Features
-
Five therapy modes - CPAP, S, T, ST and PAC, covering fixed pressure through to pressure assist control on one platform
-
intelligent Backup Rate in ST mode - stays out of the way while breaths are triggered spontaneously, then supplies backup breaths only when needed
-
Vsync leak compensation - monitors and compensates for leak continuously, so synchrony holds when the mask seal is imperfect
-
TiControl - minimum and maximum limits on inspiratory time, set either side of the patient's own ideal time, which encourages spontaneous breathing rather than overriding it
-
Trigger and cycle sensitivity - five levels, so the device can be matched to weak or strong respiratory effort
-
QuickNav - double-click the home button to move between settings and monitoring screens
-
Auto ramp and rise time - eases into therapy and shapes the pressure rise to the individual
-
Automatic altitude compensation - holds delivered pressure without manual adjustment
-
Climate Control ready - automatic humidification when a HumidAir humidifier and ClimateLineAir heated tube are fitted, both available separately
-
SD card and wireless connectivity - therapy data for review in ResScan and AirView, region dependent
-
Oximetry compatible - accepts an oximeter accessory for SpO2 data alongside therapy data
-
Home and hospital use - a single platform that moves with the patient between settings
