Finger Pulse Oximeter BLT M70- New in Box

The SeQual Eclipse 3, model 1000B, is one of the few portable oxygen concentrators that delivers genuine continuous flow as well as pulse dose. Continuous flow runs from 0.5 to 3.0 litres per minute in 0.5 litre steps, which is what separates it from the pulse-only portables that make up most of the market. A patient who has been prescribed continuous flow, or who needs oxygen while asleep when breathing is shallow and a pulse trigger becomes unreliable, cannot use a pulse-only machine. The Eclipse can serve both, which is why it was used as a single device covering home, travel and overnight use rather than running a cylinder alongside.
Pulse dose covers settings 1.0 to 6.0 in 16 ml steps from 16 ml to 96 ml, and then extends to 128, 160 and 192 ml. That upper end is the point of the Eclipse 3 over earlier Eclipse units: a patient walking uphill takes a far larger breath than one sitting still, and a 96 ml ceiling runs out. Rise time is settable fast, medium or slow, so the bolus can be delivered sharply at the start of inspiration or more gently.
autoSAT is the servo behind it. Rather than giving a fixed bolus regardless of what the patient is doing, the device tracks respiratory rate and raises its output to keep delivering the set volume as breathing quickens. Trigger sensitivity is adjustable, and if no breath is detected the unit falls back to continuous flow and keeps checking for a breath, so a patient who drifts into shallow sleep breathing is not left without oxygen because the trigger stopped seeing them.
Oxygen concentration holds between 87 and 95.6 per cent across all flow settings. The trade for the continuous flow capability is size and weight: 49.0 cm by 31.2 cm by 18.0 cm, 6.8 kg for the concentrator and 1.5 kg for the power cartridge, so about 8.3 kg together. It is carried on a wheeled cart rather than over the shoulder, and the power cartridge swaps out without lifting the unit off the cart. Sound is 48 dB(A) at 3.0 litres per minute continuous and 40 dB(A) on pulse setting 3.0.
