Trolley Pressure Care Mattress - Various Brands

The AT4 is Anetic Aid's electronic surgical tourniquet system, product code 40080, built as a self contained mobile unit rather than a box that needs plumbing in. It runs one or two channels from 0 to 600 mmHg to an accuracy of plus or minus 2.5 mmHg, carries its own air supply and its own battery, and stands 1055 mm high on castors with hooks and storage for the cuffs and cables.
The integral air supply is the feature that changes how the unit is used. A tourniquet that draws from piped medical air or a cylinder is tied to the point where that supply comes out of the wall, and in a theatre that is rarely where the surgeon wants it. The AT4 generates its own, so there are no air hoses to run, no cylinder to check and change, and with the internal battery there is no power lead either. It is wheeled to the table, positioned where it suits the procedure, and used.
On the display, pre-selected pressure and actual cuff pressure are shown independently rather than as a single figure. That distinction is the whole safety argument for an electronic tourniquet. A dial that shows only the setting tells the user what was asked for; showing the measured cuff pressure alongside it tells them what the limb is actually receiving, which is how a slow leak, a poorly seated cuff or a kinked line is caught while there is still time to deal with it. Automatic timers with a user defined elapsed time alarm cover the other half of the problem, because tourniquet time is a hard clinical limit and not something to be tracked by memory on a long list.
Dual channel operation, colour coded between the two, suits bilateral limb surgery and intravenous regional anaesthesia. The AT4 carries procedural guidance for Bier's block built into the unit, which matters because that is the application where a tourniquet failure is not merely inconvenient: a cuff that deflates early releases local anaesthetic into the circulation. Self diagnostic checks run at start up and during use, with audible and visual warnings for battery state, leaks and calibration status. Supplied pre-owned.
