AquaBeam Robotic System Motorpack
£199.99
This item
Arjo Huntleigh Maxi Move III Patient Hoist with Battery
£300.00
The AquaBeam Motorpack is the reusable drive component of the PROCEPT BioRobotics AquaBeam Robotic System, the platform used for Aquablation therapy in benign prostatic hyperplasia. It docks with the single-use Handpiece through a mechanical linkage and drives the probe both rotationally and longitudinally by means of DC motors, delivering the controlled resection path set out in the treatment plan on the Conformal Planning Unit. It carries the pump power increase and decrease controls used by the surgeon during the procedure, and a magnetic strike plate for the Handpiece Articulating Arm. This unit is new and unused, supplied in its box. It is a component sold on its own, not a complete system.

Read before ordering: this is one component of a nine component system
New and boxed
This Motorpack is new, unused and supplied in its box. Housing, docking face, magnetic strike plate, control buttons, cable and connectors have been visually inspected and box contents checked before dispatch. Full function testing of a Motorpack requires a complete AquaBeam Robotic System and has not been carried out here, so the item is offered on the basis of its condition as described and the photographs, which form part of the description. Commissioning, service and calibration are not included.
In an Aquablation procedure the surgeon maps the prostate on live transrectal ultrasound and sets a treatment contour on the Conformal Planning Unit. The Console generates a high pressure sterile saline waterjet, and the Motorpack is what moves the nozzle: two DC motors drive rotational and longitudinal motion of the Handpiece probe so that the jet sweeps the planned volume rather than being steered freehand. That separation of planning from execution is the point of the platform, and the Motorpack is the part that executes it.
Docking is a positive engagement of both the electrical connectors and the mechanical shafts of the lateral and radial motors with the Handpiece, confirmed by an indicator on the Console. The two momentary switches on the Motorpack increase and decrease high pressure pump power during treatment.
