A complete reusable dilatation and evacuation instrument set from Avicenna Surgical, supplied new and individually packaged. The set covers the full procedural sequence in one tray: sponge holders and ovum forceps, two patterns of vulsellum forceps, a double ended Sims speculum, a graduated run of ten Pratts dilators from 9/11 through to 45/47, a stainless steel kidney dish and gallipot, and a side perforated wire DIN basket sized to take the whole set through a CSSD cycle. Buying the set as a tray rather than piece by piece means the dilator progression is complete, which is the part that matters clinically and the part most often found with gaps in a mixed instrument stock.

Supplied non-sterile, sterilise before use
- These instruments are supplied non-sterile. They must be decontaminated and sterilised in line with the receiving organisation's decontamination policy and the manufacturer instructions before any clinical use.
- The set is reusable and intended to be processed through a CSSD cycle. The wire DIN basket is sized to hold the full set through washing and sterilisation.
- For use by suitably qualified healthcare professionals only.
- Inspect every instrument before use for burrs, misalignment, damaged teeth and ratchet function, and withdraw any instrument that fails inspection.
New and boxed
The set is supplied new in the manufacturer's carton with each instrument individually packaged and labelled with its reference and lot number. Box contents are checked against the packing list before dispatch.

Ten Pratts dilators in an unbroken progression from 9/11 to 45/47, double ended, so cervical dilatation can proceed in even increments without jumping a size.
Two Rampley sponge holders at 25 cm for swabbing and preparation.
McClintock ovum forceps at 25 cm with a polished finish.
Two vulsellum patterns, a straight Teale with 3:4 teeth at 24 cm and a Luer at 23 cm, giving a choice of grip on the cervix.
Double ended Sims speculum in medium, offering two blade sizes on one instrument.
Stainless steel kidney dish and 60 ml gallipot for the trolley set-up.
Side perforated wire DIN basket at 300 x 300 x 60 mm, the standard footprint for CSSD trays and washer disinfector racks.

Customs and duties

Returns
Unopened items can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Tell us before you send anything back so we can give you a returns reference.
Opened items that touch the airway cannot be returned for hygiene reasons unless they are faulty.

Refund
Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item reaches us and has been checked, normally within five working days.
Faulty items are refunded in full, including the delivery you paid.
