The Evac+Chair 300H MK5 is the UK's most popular single-operator emergency evacuation chair, enabling the safe, controlled descent of mobility-impaired individuals down a staircase during fire evacuations and other building emergencies. Manufactured in the UK with 35 years of design experience behind it, the MK5 builds on the success of the MK4 with upgraded kickstand geometry, repositioned and strengthened 50mm wheels for improved weight distribution, enhanced padding and an improved safety belt for greater passenger comfort. The unique friction belt system with self-braking track controls the smoothness and speed of stair descent automatically, eliminating the risk of acceleration on steep steps. Double-handed anti-slip grip provides the operator with secure, stable control throughout the descent. At just 9.5kg, the 300H MK5 is lightweight enough for any trained staff member to deploy and operate. Suitable for staircases inclined at 28 to 40 degrees, with a 182kg passenger capacity. CE marked, TUV certified and MHRA registered. Five-year warranty.
