The 2GOability Access is a manual transit wheelchair built for everyday mobility and travel. The aluminium frame keeps the total weight to 9.5 kg, so the chair can be lifted into a car boot or onto public transport by one person. It folds without tools, runs on puncture proof tyres and comes fitted with padded armrests, a lap belt, a calf strap and removable swing-away footrests. Seat width is 45 cm, the nominal 18 inch size.
Transit chair, attendant propelled
This is a transit model. The rear wheels are small and there are no self-propelling handrims, so the chair cannot be pushed along by the occupant and an attendant is required at all times. Where independent self-propulsion is needed, a self-propelled chair with large rear wheels and handrims is the correct choice.

Safe use
- Maximum user weight is 100 kg. This figure covers the occupant together with anything carried on the chair, including bags and equipment.
- The brakes are attendant operated parking brakes. Apply both brakes before any transfer in or out of the chair, and do not use them to control speed on a slope.
- Check that both footrests have latched into position before moving off, and swing them clear before a transfer so the occupant does not step on them.
- The lap belt is a positioning belt for use while seated. It is not a vehicle occupant restraint. The occupant should transfer to a vehicle seat for travel unless the chair carries documented evidence that it has been tested for use as a seat in a motor vehicle.
- Kerbs and steps should be negotiated using the tipping lever with the attendant facing the correct way and the occupant informed beforehand.

Fit and access check
Overall width is 54 cm when open. Measure the narrowest doorway, hallway turn and lift opening on the intended route before ordering, and allow clearance for the attendant's hands on the push handles. Boot space should be measured against the folded footprint rather than the open dimensions above.
