ResMed Lumis 150 VPAP ST Non-Invasive Ventilator
The ResMed Lumis 150 VPAP ST is a non-invasive ventilator for people with respiratory insufficiency or obstructive sleep apnoea who are not ventilator dependent. It runs CPAP, S, T, ST, PAC and iVAPS modes, so one device covers straightforward bi-level support through to volume assured ventilation in COPD and neuromuscular disease. IntelligentAir brings those technologies together: iVAPS learns the individual's alveolar ventilation and holds it with smooth pressure support, an intelligent Backup Rate adds breaths only when they are not triggered, and optional AutoEPAP adjusts expiratory pressure in response to upper airway obstruction. This listing is for the device with its power supply and travel bag. Machine hours are selected from the options below.

Before first use: Therapy mode, pressures, backup rate and target settings must be entered by the sleep or respiratory service responsible for the individual's care, and must not be carried over from a previous user. Fit a fresh filter and use a fresh mask and tubing, which are personal items and are not transferred between users. iVAPS mode is indicated for individuals weighing 30 kg and above.
Checked before dispatch: Cleaned and inspected. Powered up and function tested, including blower operation and screen response. Air outlet, filter housing, casing, power supply and lead visually inspected for damage. These are in-house workshop checks and damaged or non-working items are not dispatched. A full engineer service is not included unless this listing states that the unit has been serviced.
Key Features
-
Six therapy modes - CPAP, S, T, ST with optional iBR, PAC and iVAPS with optional AutoEPAP, covering a wide range of respiratory presentations on one platform
-
iVAPS volume assured pressure support - learns the individual's alveolar ventilation, sets a target and adjusts pressure support to maintain it as the condition changes
-
intelligent Backup Rate - stays out of the way while breaths are triggered spontaneously, then adds backup breaths only when needed
-
AutoEPAP - auto-adjusts expiratory pressure in response to partial and full upper airway obstruction, available in iVAPS mode
-
Vsync and TiControl - maintains synchrony in the presence of significant leak, with settable minimum and maximum inspiratory time limits
-
Trigger and cycle sensitivity - five levels, so the device can be matched to weak or strong respiratory effort
-
Ramp and Ramp Down - eases into therapy at sleep onset and steps pressure support down at the end rather than stopping abruptly, which matters at higher pressure support levels
-
Climate Control Auto - automatic humidification when used with a HumidAir humidifier and ClimateLineAir heated tube, both available separately
-
QuickNav - double-click the home button to move between settings and monitoring screens
-
Quiet operation - 27 dBA measured to ISO 80601-2-70:2015 in CPAP mode
-
Alarms - a set of fixed and adjustable alarms suited to non-dependent ventilation
-
Connectivity - built-in wireless for AirView remote monitoring and therapy management, and ResScan compatible, region dependent
