Die ResMed S9 Serie umfasst drei eng verwandte Geräte für eine komfortable Therapie der obstruktiven Schlafapnoe. Alle Modelle haben dasselbe kompakte Design, den leisen Easy-Breathe-Motor, eine Farb-LCD-Oberfläche und sind mit dem beheizten H5i-Befeuchter kompatibel. Jede Version bietet einen anderen Funktionsumfang, sodass Patienten und Ärzte das Gerät wählen können, das zu den individuellen Therapieanforderungen passt.

Das ResMed S9 Escape Auto ermöglicht eine flexible Therapie, da es sowohl den Modus Auto-CPAP (APAP) als auch den Modus fester CPAP-Druck unterstützt. Seine Algorithmen reagieren die ganze Nacht über auf Ihr Atemmuster und helfen, einen stabilen Atemwegsdruck aufrechtzuerhalten. Komfortfunktionen wie die Exspiratorische Druckentlastung (EPR) und der sehr leise Easy-Breathe-Motor tragen zu einer ruhigen Therapie bei. Der optionale beheizte H5i-Befeuchter verbessert die Befeuchtung und verringert Trockenheit.

Das S9 Escape Auto ist für die Therapie der obstruktiven Schlafapnoe bei Patienten mit einem Körpergewicht von mehr als 30 kg indiziert. Es eignet sich für die Anwendung zu Hause und im Krankenhaus.
Das S9 AutoSet ist das Modell mit dem größten Funktionsumfang der S9-Familie und bietet eine vollautomatische Druckanpassung mit dem AutoSet-Algorithmus von ResMed. Es überwacht kontinuierlich Atemfluss, Apnoen, Hypopnoen, Flusslimitierung und Schnarchen und passt den Druck Atemzug für Atemzug an, um die Therapie über den gesamten Schlafzyklus hinweg zu unterstützen. Zu den Komfortfunktionen gehören EPR, der AutoSet-Response-Modus und derselbe leise Easy-Breathe-Motor wie bei der gesamten S9 Serie.

Wie das AutoSet liefert es hochauflösende Leckage- und Ereignisdaten und eignet sich damit für Patienten mit engmaschiger Nachsorge oder für Ärzte, die Therapieanpassungen vornehmen.
