Il ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet è un apparecchio CPAP autoregolante. Misura le vie aeree respiro per respiro e regola la pressione entro l'intervallo impostato dal medico prescrittore, invece di mantenere un unico valore fisso, e aggiunge SmartStart, AutoRamp ed Expiratory Pressure Relief per rendere più tollerabile la prima ora con la maschera.
Questo kit abbina un apparecchio usato a materiali di consumo nuovi, così arriva pronto all'uso senza bisogno di un ordine separato per le parti a contatto con l'utilizzatore. Apparecchio, alimentatore e borsa di trasporto sono usati. Maschera, tubo riscaldato, camera d'acqua, filtri e articoli per la pulizia sono nuovi.
Controlli prima della spedizione
- Acceso e messo in funzione, con verifica dell'erogazione della pressione, del ventilatore e del riscaldamento dell'umidificatore.
- Ore registrate lette dal dispositivo e annotate per l'unità prima dell'imballaggio.
- Display, navigazione nei menu e impostazioni di comfort verificati.
- Percorso dell'aria, ingresso e uscita ispezionati, esterno pulito e disinfettato.
- Vengono forniti una camera d'acqua nuova, un tubo nuovo e un filtro nuovo, così nessuna parte del percorso dell'aria umidificata proviene da un utilizzatore precedente.
Si tratta di controlli interni di officina. Gli articoli danneggiati o non funzionanti non vengono spediti. Un'assistenza tecnica completa con calibrazione non è inclusa, salvo che questa inserzione indichi che l'unità è stata revisionata. L'impostazione dell'intervallo di pressione prescritto resta a carico dell'utilizzatore e del servizio clinico che lo segue.
L'intervallo di pressione è impostato dal servizio clinico prescrittore
- Le pressioni minima e massima derivano da uno studio del sonno o da una valutazione clinica e vengono inserite dal servizio clinico responsabile.
- Le impostazioni non vengono mai trasferite da un utilizzatore precedente. Qualsiasi intervallo memorizzato nel dispositivo da un uso precedente viene confermato o modificato prima dell'inizio della terapia.
- Tipo e taglia della maschera vengono scelti in base all'utilizzatore. Una maschera scelta al momento dell'acquisto senza prova è un punto di partenza, non un'interfaccia adattata, e una maschera che calza male è il motivo più comune di abbandono della terapia.
Cosa indicano le ore su un apparecchio CPAP usato
La piattaforma AirSense 10 è costruita attorno a un ventilatore progettato per anni di uso notturno, e il dato che indica all'acquirente a che punto di questa vita si trova un apparecchio sono le ore registrate. Questo si colloca tra 5.000 e 10.000 ore, pari a circa due-tre anni e mezzo di terapia notturna tipica. È un apparecchio con un servizio reale alle spalle e buona parte della vita ancora davanti, e il prezzo dovrebbe rispecchiare entrambe le cose. Un'unità nella parte bassa della fascia ha lavorato sensibilmente meno di una nella parte alta, per cui le ore dell'apparecchio specifico vengono lette dal dispositivo prima dell'imballaggio.
Su un apparecchio usato conta più delle ore ciò che è stato fatto per le parti che trasportano l'aria umidificata. L'usura del ventilatore è graduale e prevedibile. L'igiene no. In questo kit camera d'acqua, tubo e filtro sono tutti nuovi, il che significa che ogni superficie tra umidificatore e maschera è nuova, e la maschera stessa è nuova e non ricondizionata. È la differenza tra un apparecchio usato e un sistema terapeutico usato, ed è l'aspetto da verificare in qualsiasi inserzione di CPAP di seconda mano.
Vanno indicati due limiti. La regolazione automatica non sostituisce una prescrizione: l'intervallo deve comunque essere stabilito da un medico, e un dispositivo lasciato su un ampio intervallo predefinito non equivale a uno impostato sull'intervallo per cui la persona è stata titolata. Inoltre l'AirSense 10 è una piattaforma della generazione precedente, sostituita dall'AirSense 11, per cui la disponibilità degli accessori oggi è buona ma si ridurrà nel tempo. Per chi cerca un'apparecchiatura collaudata a un prezzo inferiore è un compromesso ragionevole, ma dovrebbe essere una scelta consapevole e non una sorpresa.
Caratteristiche principali
Algoritmo autoregolante AutoSet, che risponde a limitazione del flusso, russamento e apnea entro l'intervallo prescritto, così la pressione aumenta solo nella parte della notte in cui serve invece di restare al massimo tutta la notte.
Expiratory Pressure Relief, che riduce la pressione durante l'espirazione, eliminando la sensazione di espirare contro la piena pressione terapeutica, ed è spesso ciò che rende tollerabile una prescrizione più elevata.
AutoRamp con rilevamento dell'addormentamento, che parte da una pressione bassa e attende che l'utilizzatore si addormenti prima di salire al livello prescritto, invece di aumentare con un timer fisso.
SmartStart, che avvia la terapia quando l'utilizzatore respira nella maschera e la interrompe quando la maschera viene tolta, senza premere alcun tasto all'inizio o alla fine della notte.
Motore Easy-Breathe, con un funzionamento a circa 26-27 dBA, abbastanza silenzioso da non svegliare chi dorme accanto.
Verifica della tenuta della maschera con avviso di perdita, eseguita prima di dormire per confermare la tenuta, con segnalazione delle perdite significative durante la notte perché vengano corrette invece che tollerate.
Display LCD con sensore di luce ambientale, che si attenua in base alla stanza, così lo schermo non illumina la camera quando il dispositivo viene controllato di notte.
Alloggiamento umidificatore integrato con supporto ClimateLineAir, che mantiene temperatura e umidità alla maschera tramite il tubo riscaldato fornito, evitando la formazione di condensa in una camera fredda.
Scheda SD e dati AirView, che offrono al servizio clinico l'accesso ai dati della terapia tramite scheda oppure, dove la regione lo supporta, tramite trasmissione wireless.
Specifiche limitate a quanto confermato
- Le ore esatte registrate su questa singola unità, insieme a numero di serie, data di fabbricazione e versione software, vengono lette dal dispositivo e comunicate su richiesta.
- L'alimentatore fornito è l'unità ResMed da 65 W oppure da 90 W. La potenza dell'unità spedita viene confermata prima dell'imballaggio, poiché l'umidificatore assorbe più di quanto previsto per l'alimentatore più piccolo.
- La variante regionale del dispositivo determina se la trasmissione wireless è attiva. La conferma per questa unità è disponibile su richiesta.
- Modello e taglia della maschera si scelgono al momento dell'acquisto. Se non è stata effettuata una prova, la maschera viene scelta con il servizio clinico e non con una misurazione a casa.

Customs and duties
International orders ship on a Delivered At Place basis. Import duty, local tax and customs clearance fees are charged by the destination country and are the buyer's responsibility.

Opened items that touch the airway cannot be returned for hygiene reasons unless they are faulty.
